Generally, my skincare routine switches up pretty regularly. I'm not particularly loyal to certain products or brands unless I absolutely adore them, however I seem to have settled into a more regular routine of late, and have found myself reaching for the same few products most mornings. First up is Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish, a hot cloth cleanser that was huge on the blogging scene a year or so ago. I gave in to the hype and bought my first bottle back then, and I still absolutely love it. The thick cream deeply cleanses my skin, while the polishing action (using a warm, soaked muslin cloth to "polish" the product away) gently exfoliates, leaving my skin feeling amazing. Next in my lineup is Boots Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz, which I spoke about here and have just rediscovered - it's a simple, rose scented toner that I'm thoroughly enjoying using again. Another old favourite is Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum (review here). This is by far my favourite serum and I really cannot rave about it enough. My current bottle is running pretty low and it's going to be a sad, sad day when it runs out. I'm on a self-imposed beauty spending ban at the moment but I would be very tempted to let that temporarily slip my mind in order get my hands on another bottle of this! Moving on, a moisturiser that I've had a soft spot for lately is Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Skin Brightening Moisturiser SPF15, which is a lovely natural moisturiser with a bit of added SPF - perfect for summer. Finally, I recently found a miniature version of Benefit's It's Potent eye cream in the depths my beauty drawer. I'm pretty much desperately scraping my finger around the bottom of the teeny pot at this point, but it's a good 'un - I love the consistency and it's lovely and hydrating.
So, that's it! Like I said, I change up my skincare routine pretty often but these few simple products are working really well for me at the moment, so I'm going to stick with them for the time being. Do you stick to a tried and tested routine or do you like to switch it up? I'd love to hear about your current skincare favourites!
